KEEPER’S COTTAGE
Keeper’s Cottage, run by Emma Taylor, lies just outside Glastonbury. Three charming rooms afford a breath-taking view over the rolling Somerset hills and the famous Glastonbury Tor. All three rooms are individually designed and include adorable bathrooms with large bathtubs and showers. At Keeper’s Cottage, you have all the creature comforts you could wish for. Hard to believe, but true: Paul and Lesley Stapleton’s mansion originates in the year 1211. When it was up for sale a few years ago, even the Beckhams were interested in the estate in one of the most beautiful spots that Cornwall has to offer. Luckily, the gavel fell in the Stapletons’ favour and they set up this wonderful bed and breakfast with four guest rooms and idyllic gardens. Breakfast is served in the authentic English dining room and Paul is happy to accommodate special culinary requests.
